I am an associate professor of sociology at Georgia Tech and my area of research focuses on the sociology of medicine, health, science and technology. For the last eleven years I have concentrated my research on the politics of genetics research on autism and currently I am working on an ethnography to identify the barriers families experience to an autism diagnosis and services.
