University Supervisor
Supervised student teachers in the Masters of Education program. Supported students’ development in the areas of teaching methods, classroom management, lesson planning, professional development, and reflective practice. Worked with cooperating teachers to model best practices for student teachers. Senior Program Manager
Facilitated multiple university partnerships in Chicago including district and community stakeholders. Directed a team to plan student clinical experiences in partner schools and communities, and design professional development to support ISU student teachers and Professional Development School interns. Disseminated CTEP teacher preparation model at conferences and meetings. Assessed programming as needed for grant reporting and research for federal and private grants awarded to CTEP.

Develop and manage partnerships for ISU between Chicago Public Schools (administrators, teachers, BOE staff) and community based organizations. Lead a team of stakeholders to design and implement an immersive co-curricular model for pre-service teachers that is grounded in social justice and works to cultivate and sustain innovative, resilient, and effective educators for urban schools and their communities. Create systems for USDOE grant workteam flow between university, district and community stakeholders. Manage daily operations and lead staff in an off-campus office environment. Directly supervise 4 full-time employees as well as seasonal extra-help employees to support CTEP university and high school programs.
