Lots of students don't like Professor McLaughlin. However, if you do what you're supposed to do, show up to class and attend her office hours, then you'll be fine. When it comes to papers, I enjoyed it and never got below an A. That being said I don't mind writing but she always makes herself available and provides insightful feedback.
