I love to teach. I believe all kids have their own gem within them. I often compare teaching with gardening. Both require patience and knowledge in order to foster growth.\n\nI received a master degree in the teaching of Chinese from Hunter College. I am familiar with NYS foreign language teaching standards and ACTFL endorsed strategies. I always use the target language in the classroom and integrate Chinese language and culture. I often facilitate student-centered teaching and differentiated instruction based on students’ abilities. In addition
my experience working with the blended course has given me with a thorough understanding of the use of technology. I have been implementing technology in my teaching and my students’ learning.\n\nMy research interests are mainly concentrated on teaching pedagogy and second language acquisition
as well as Chinese grammar and Chinese characters teaching. \n\nAll in all
my devoted work is to help my students’ abilities to blossom.
