I took Prof. Huang over the summer. If you want to do well, attendance is mandatory. Although he doesn't curve, he notices who attends class. He picked a session to record attendance then he awarded those students a small curve. For example, you get a B+, if you're currently on a B. His tests are from HW and examples. If you have an A or B going into the final, you can get out of the final.
