Poor
Way too much reading. He just hands out pop quizzes at random after assigning something. Apart from that we're given a 30+ assignment every single day and he wants you to make sure you know it in depth, as the next day you'll get insanely specific questions on those 30+ pages. The lectures were dull and mind-numbing.
Average
Professor Shumway is a super nice guy, however his class feels like it takes forever. He presents the material to you in a very boring way, however It is clear that he knows his infomation. Virtually all the lectures consisted of power points drenched with references from the 80's. The two tests we did in the class (midterm and final) accounted for 75% of the scores we're graded on.
