Daytona State College - Science
Jeffrey Squires has served on the SAPMS board of trustees since September of 2018. He is an assistant professor in the School of Biological and Physical Sciences at Daytona State College where he teaches genetics, human biology, and anatomy and physiology courses. He earned his M.S. in Integrative Physiology from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, his Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Hawaii and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute in Sydney, Australia. Jeffrey is a passionate teacher with ten years of college biology teaching experience. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, kitesurfing, camping and playing guitar.
