Provides leadership and coordination to the various facilities service functions.

Develops the technical resources of the facilities units, while at the same time providing leadership to ensure efficient and cost-effective maintenance support to the institution. The Director of Facilities Operations develops processes, procedures and sets goals and priorities to ensure timely responses to completion of projects and/or work orders and guides staff to find solutions to maintenance related issues. Utilizes personal and customer focused approaches to achieve a balance between customer satisfaction and departmental resources. Administrative Director of WW Facilities
Water Pollution Control Facility General Manager – I serve as the Director of the Town’s 36 MGD activated sludge wastewater treatment plant and sewage collection system. Responsibilities include all aspects of executive level management including staffing, setting organizational goals, priorities, operations, maintenance, safety, finance, construction and service contract management, purchasing and capital improvement investment program management. I oversee 62 employees (including two labor unions) for an $880M asset operating 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. I manage an annual operating budget of $15M, and a $68M capital improvement budget. During my tenure I have an extremely successful record of restructuring the organizational matrix of the operation, developing a culture of excellence and accountability, and installing an Asset Management program to streamline workflow, increase productivity, reduce cost, increase predictive maintenance, control inventory and improve purchasing functionality.
