Awful
I feel like I got screwed from the orientation and was forced to take this class. His exams are unclear and he doesn't give study guides. Textbook is mandatory though. He created the textbook and made us buy the extension. This class cost me entry to my program. I have no faith in myself to get an A. I hate myself for this. His lecture notes aren't helpful at all.
Awful
Prof. Segal is the worst prof ever!
Awful
Professor Segal is nice but the course is very harsh. There's hundreds of pages of reading, without any hint of what to. Also, he'll make you write a short answer or essay test. Pop quizzes were given too. The lecture slides do not contain any details and provide points for the lecture.
Poor
I did perfectly well on pop quizzes, midterm, and final exam, but I ended up getting a bad grade from him. I was also very active in class and I followed the format he wanted for the final. I really don't understand how I got a low grade despite all my efforts.
Good
Prof. Jeffrey got a lot of bad reviews for POL 102 which I actually understand if you only go off of the lecture slides. Trust me tho, if you read the assigned chapters and pay attention, you'll definitely pass. I actually got an A from doing those. Also, make sure to be updated on the current events.
Good
Professor Segal is direct. His pop quizzes are very easy, as long as you read you will know the answer. He's very nice, sometimes funny. Also, he answers emails. His civil liberties class was black and white. Our homework is never much, all we do is read court cases for homework and then we talk about it in class. If you read and study you'll get an A.
