drought prone Southeastern piedmont soils. \n\nMicrowave remote sensing of surficial soil moisture via NASA’s Gulfstream C-20A UAVSAR aircraft (synthetic aperture radar; scanning lidar for quantifying erosion and deposition: ground penetrating radar and electromagnetic induction of apparent electrical conductivity to characterize subsurface soil properties in collaboration with US EPA and USDA-NRCS specialists.
