It’s hard to know what to call myself anymore.

In the beginning, Graphic Designer or Art Director was the usual title for what I did. But, over time, many of those older titles became too confining.

I’ve transitioned into becoming a web and digital designer, marketing strategist, brand consultant, communications manager, email and social media specialist, advertiser, writer, photographer, video editor and more for businesses large and small, for-profit and nonprofit.

Though titles have changed throughout my 25+ year career, some things haven’t changed.

I still love to help clients achieve their goals.

Associate Professor - Department of Visual Design
Department Chair from 2003-2010. Duties included management of the department including establishing budgets and curriculum, the hiring and maintaining of instructors, overseeing the internship program, marketing to area high schools, maintaining technology, advising students, assisting in job placement and teaching 3-5 courses per semester.

Courses taught include: Introduction to Visual Communications, Typography I & II, Business for Visual Communications, Advertising, Corporate Design, Portfolio I and II, Senior Presentation and Design Honors.
GraceWorks Ministries, Inc.
Communications Manager
GraceWorks Ministries is a Christian-based nonprofit in Franklin, TN that provides basic needs to help people in Williamson County.

Responsibilities include generating and implementing new ideas for raising the visibility of the GraceWorks brand and increasing engagement through design and content creation for the website, social media, email marketing and other touchpoints.
