Sylvan draws very heavily from his personal life experiences. You will do well to see him during his office hours where you can go over material that he has presented in his videos and power points. He will make the extra effort to help you understand the material that he presents in class.

All I did was look at the power points of the sections about four-five days before the exams. But you need to write down all the information in the power point and comprehend it. Do that, and it's a simple A. It's a relatively easy class.

Prof. Sylvan is an amazing professor who can make lectures interesting. You will be fine as long as you listen to lectures and read the book. He doesn't make you do a ton of extra work and he is very organized. I would really recommend his class to anyone. You just have to watch the lectures.

Prof. Sylvan's class was awesome! It wasn't challenging at all. You just have to put in effort to get an A. Tests are open notes and are taken online. By reading quizzes, he gives extra credit.

I took Prof. Jason's class online. He allows you to use notes/textbook on exams, so I'd recommend getting the online textbook to search faster. I actually just read the textbook and didn't watch the lectures. But he also includes some facts from lectures as extra credit questions.

Professor Sylvan is quirky. I took his class online, which was my first mistake. I think I could've done a lot better if I had taken him in person. The online course is based on a couple items. However, there were three extra credit quizzes that will be added to your final grade. If you have the opportunity to take his class, do it. He seems to be a cool teacher.

The lecture videos can be long, but Doctor Sylvan is hilarious and fun to watch. He made the class an enjoyable one. He gives quizzes as extra credit, which is really nice. The tests weren't hard, as long as you watch the lectures or take notes and do the readings. The only other grade is a project that isn't hard at all too.

For my first online course, I didn't know what to expect. However, if you're ready to laugh, Professor Sylvan is such a good teacher. I loved him and his passion for hard metal music Make sure you take notes on a consistent schedule instead of cramming the day before a reading quiz. Honestly, this is a good online course.
