Good
The Adobe Illustrator course was hard and the instructor did not help.

Jared is Okay. He responds very quickly to emails and telephone calls. Very helpful and he knows a lot of stuff. He once responded with "This is where the thinking cap goes on. I know it's a tough one to think about..." I believe that he was attempting to be lighthearted, but that comment felt a little mean. Kind of like, "use your brain you idiot." I have met with him on several occasions and he really is a great guy.
Good
Professor Newnam is more than terrific. He is always willing to help his students and he provided relatable sources from the outside world. He gave us insights on what we were getting invovled in. He is definitely understanding with his students and gave his upmost attention to us when we needed support. Keep in mind to be self-motivated and ask for help. He will make every effort to explain what you do not understand. He has great insight into other areas in the industry and specially in the micro-biology field.
Awesome
Prof Newnam is one of my favorite lecturers at MCC. He has real-world experience in the industry, and that shows in his pragmatic approach to web development. I'd recommend his courses to anyone interested in learning web development thoroughly and pursuing a career as a developer.
Awesome
Professor Newnam helps you learn the concepts. He does care about you. He really analyzes your work and helps you improve. He breaks things down into manageable pieces. The book was not used too often. Instead, he makes videos for lectures. His assignments were via Codepen or Firebase. Also, he's a great communicator in and out of class. If you really want to learn the subject, I suggest you take his class. Hands-down the top professor at Mesa Community College.
