My primary role was to support the NASA Flight Analog Project through collection and analysis of balance data on human subjects. This project involved investigating deconditioning caused by space flight
and determinging countermeasures to address them.\nSecondarily
I was involved in setting up experiments to investigate the basic science behind balance limits of stability.
Biomedical Engineer
Worked in an operations and maintenance engineering function which involved helping to design plans to modify or replace plant equipment to improve plant safety
and maintain or improve plant efficiency.

Research Assistant
As a research assistant I aided in long-term wear testing of artificial knee implants using a mechanical force-input knee simulator. In terms of writing I submitted abstracts for national conferences as well as wrote standard operating procedures for lab equipment.

Knee Wear Simulation Kinematics
I worked on providing a more robust characterization of knee implant kinematics by measuring M/L translation during simulation and incorporating it with other kinematic measurements. I then created new tibio-femoral contact point pathways that help to more accurately describe how the knee implant moves during simulation.
