Professor Gassam is inconsistent with her grading criteria. On one paper, I cited sources and did well on it, but then another paper I used the same citations and she said they were cited wrong and took off points. She also takes about three to four weeks to grade papers, and doesn't respond to emails or questions. Her lectures weren't bad though. There are no breaks, she keeps you the entire class. Not sure that I would take her again.

Professor Janice Gassam is a fair grader, but not a consistent grader. Your grade will suffer if your source is incorrect (don't use direct quotes). She makes videos explaining different assignments, but often confuses the class even more. The book is very important since that's where the answers for DQs come from.
