Awful
Epstein No one told you when you sign up for the course that it's a hybrid class and you basically have to teach yourself everything. You have to watch online lectures, take quizzes and eat pizza. The TA's all and live in New York. No email, no telephone, no office. you do not exist. Tests are brutal and determine your grade.
Poor
I strongly recommend you avoid taking Professor Epstein's course, I thought it would be fairly simple, but I was incorrect. I truly think I do very well with math, since I have never had issues with the subject before even when taking higher courses like calculus, however this course was completely disarrayed. The tests are difficult, and when needing help she is sort of available, yet useless. The course is 100% online, but she has you hand things in, in person.
Poor
Most of my problems with the class don't come from Professor Epstein, but from the online format. The online format makes it mostly dependent on self-study. The class also seemed much more inconvenient and awkward than it should be. The tests use a program called Examity and it was the worst thing ever. If you struggle in math, don't take this class.
