My areas of teaching, writing and research interests include: meditation & mindfulness practices, hope, suffering, evil, grief & end of life care, social madness, and effects of social media and electronic communication on psychological and emotional health. I also have training in dialogue & deliberation, diversity and prejudice, group process and facilitation, and student development and adult learning theories.

Worked with major donors on a capital campaign raising over 12.5 million dollars for bricks and mortar, scholarships, endowed funds, and annul funds. Responsible for grant-writing, stewardship, and solicitation of funds.

After sailing around the world on board the S.S. Universe I served in admissions recruiting students and faculty from 135 universities around the United States. Enrollments grew by over 50% for my areas of recruitment.
