Great knowledge can be found in the strangest places. James Arnone is one of these rare finds. Will not talk down to you like so many other professors. He made biology come to life for me. His class is filling up!
Awesome
Amazing Bioprofessor, I would take him for every bio classes if I could. But, he is a fast talker, so listen carefully. Be prepared to ask him to repeat or clarify something that he said during his lectures. He is a great teacher who really knows Biology and who really knows how to teach it. I think he is one of the best professors in the Biology Department.
Awesome
Definitely an awesome professor, he really takes time to explain the material thoroughly. He is always available for consultation and is very responsive. He gives fair grades and test. He'll give incentive points just as long as the class is deserving of it. Definitely recommend taking his class.
Good
He is reasonable. He clarifies the material well. Took him for cell bio lab, and giving the conditions of him not having full access to the class, I figured he worked admirably. He reviews assignments rapidly and is accessible for available time. The main thing I didn't care for was that he appeared to get irritated by an excessive number of QUESTIONS AT TIMES.
Good
Professor Arnone is a excellent professor who has attempted his utmost in the laboratory. It was really hard because he had limited access to what he actually had so he couldn't teach everything he wished. His exams are really difficult, but he'll assist you the best he can if you go to his office.
Good
I took him for my genetics labs and I must stay that he is the best professor that teaches this lab. He's always willing to help outside of class and he explains things so well. Do not hesitate to ask questions because he will really guide you.

Professor Arnone is the best, went over his own slides when he couldn't access the black board. Makes sure you understand everything before continuing, always eager to help. Kind, funny, making the class feels like they are a part of a research team. He teach cell bio lecture next semester which is great.

One of the best science professor at WP is Dr. J. He's very knowledgeable and understands his subject well. I wish he was my professor on lectures and all of my biology classes. Biology is not that easy. So, if you are lazy and not doing your part then be ready to fail. But, if you study very hard and understands your laboratory manuals then you'll be fine. Will be choosing him as a professor from time to time.
