Professor VB is a stone cold fox. He is a very attractive guy, with a soft, smooth face. Even though he has gray and white hair, he is a total babe. He is maybe in his mid 30's. At first, his personality can seem cold and isolate to students, but as time progresses he starts to show his bright side by telling funny and embarrassing stories. Totally love this professor!

Numerical Analysis is a challenging class. However, Professor Brecht runs his class in a straightforward manner. His class was composed of a quiz every week instead of collecting homework, a couple of midterm exams and a cumulative final. He dropped two lowest quizzes and three Math labs. He's a fair grader. He curved the exams by giving extra points on the test. He did not admit it though. Definitely, I will take his class again.

Professor VB's lectures are heavy, he moves fast and covers a lot of material. However, I think he is a great professor that truly cares about his students. Go to his office hours and don't hesitate to ask him questions, he is more than happy to help. He is actually a sweet guy once he gets comfortable around you, don't let his cold exterior stop you.

If I could give more than five stars, I would. He is what I expect from a professor. He is organized and has beautifully laid out lectures. Very detailed as well. There was a lot of examples, recaps, stating theorems clearly, etc. He's fair when it comes to grading and overall getting an A is pretty easy. Plus, he's handsome.
