Poor
Professor Wingrave was a really smart and caring guy outside the classroom. However, he's not a good professor. He reads straight out of the lecture manual in class. He barely gives any explanations and often writes steps wrong in the problems. You can get a good grade in the class if you put an effort to study and go to his office hours.
Awful
This class gave me a headache. The tests are super hard and the labs are even worse. The labs are basically impossible and they are 3 hours long. Do NOT take this class!
Awful
Professor Wingrave does not teach each lecture, and you have to watch about a third online. There is a ton of homework problems that will teach you more than he will, and the book will become your best friend (free pdf version available). I got a concussion, so I missed work. He was not accommodating at all, so I audited the class. I would say pick a different professor if you can.
Average
I had Professor Wingrave for 103 last semester. Then, he was my least favorite professor. But now that I'm used to his teaching style, 104 wasn't too bad. As long as you do the sapling and the practice tests, you'll do well on the tests, I promise. I spent a lot of time worrying about the tests, but the curve is crazy. So, I did fine in the end.
Average
Prof. Wingrave is a fantastic man who knows his thing and is enthusiastic about what he teaches. My advice is to complete the Saplings (there are a lot), rewrite notes in your own words, and don't worry about exam results. If you have the opportunity, attend to his office hours (arrive early) and ask him any questions you have.
