I have taught traditional, online, and hybrid classes since I joined the Peace Corps, English Education program in the Philippines in 1986. I teach to a wide range of students including both traditional and non-traditional, ranging from Advanced Placement High School Students at Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth to Graduate Seminars in Writing Pedagogy at Southern New Hampshire University. I was the Assistant Director of the Writing Center at the University of Texas, Austin, and I administered the Freshman Writing Program at Eastern Illinois University.
