Our team was asked to put together a Capture The Flag contest for the Sky Dog Security Conference in Nashville
TN. Regardless of the fact that we had never done one before
and some of us had never participated in one
we said yes. We set up a fictional corporation and allowed team members to initially play as the red team (trying to break in)
then play as the blue team (trying to defend the corporation against the next red team).\n\nIt was an awesome success. So much so
we're did it again in 2014.

Shmoocon Labs - Network Engineer
I am a staff member of Shmoocon and specifically the labs where we get volunteers of every possible skill level and help them build an enterprise network in 36 hours or less. I mentor volunteers
liaise with hotel staff
Shmoocon staff and vendors to get everything working perfectly as the attendees arrive. Once everything is working
we then start experimenting to do even more advanced things with the network traffic we see.\n\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrjZWGtZCWE
