Prof. Miranda is one of the best chem professors in CSU. His lectures are understandable and clear. He even records it and uploads it on Youtube, so students can review it. Attendance is necessary and graded. Exams and quizzes are straight out of lecture.

Taking Chemistry 24 under Professor Miranda was probably one of the worst experiences of my life. Organic chemistry is a very difficult class, even with a good teacher. Unfortunately, he just made it worse. The exams and quizzes were the only things in the grade book. There's no homework, nor practice exams since he expected you to memorize his lectures. So, if you don't do well on tests you'll be screwed.
