I've taken two classes under Professor Mendoza, at San Diego Mesa College. It's Spanish 101 and 102. He cares about his students. He's accessible and gets into the history of Spanish grammar. Unfortunately, he's not teaching Spanish 201. Because if he is, I would take him again. I highly recommend his class to everyone.

I had such an amazing experience in this class. Prof. Mendoza clearly knows his stuff and he will really work with you to make sure that you understand the material and that you are well taken care of. Class participation is inevitable. I actually got to know my classmates which was really awesome. He also breaks everything down for examination days. You'll do fine as long as you do your homework. I actually took 102 with him as well.

I totally enjoyed SPAN102 with Prof. Mendoza. Many of us already took SPAN101 with him and still came back for his SPAN102. Material is well-presented and he provides useful insights into spelling and phonetics. He's very helpful and understanding. He's really one of the profs who would want his students to succeed.
