My professional areas of interest are Victorian literature and modern drama, especially Oscar Wilde, theatre history, and performance and gender studies. I have written or edited the following books, all published by Cambridge University Press:

In addition to teaching and writing, I've been director of graduate studies in English, interim director of Journalism, and acting chair and chair of the English department at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
