I'm a dedicated and passionate writer and educator. I specialize in creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences through intuitive design, precise writing, and audience empathy. I've taught English at the college level (in-person and online) for over eight years. I currently work as the Learning Experience Designer for Ultimate Software in addition to teaching online English courses for Eastern Gateway Community College.

My second book, Doomed to Fail: The Incredibly Loud History of Doom, Sludge, and Post-metal, came out in 2020. My writing has been featured in VICE, Revolver, Decibel, Kerrang!, The A.V. Club, Salon, and elsewhere.
