Prof. Garcia is a good teacher, but his Controls 1 is the most challenging class in Electrical Engineering. Homework takes up most of your time each week and sometimes it isn't even enough to get it done. Do well on the first exam because it would go downhill quickly afterwards. He also doesn't curve.
