Good
Really did enjoy being around Professor Curto. Very funny person, and extremely helpful during office hours. It could be hard to understand her in the lectures at times, so going to office hours was a really good decision. While the lectures could get dull, it's hard to find lectures that aren't. Really a great class, definitely recommended.
Awful
Professor Curto is the worst teacher I have ever had. She can't structure a course properly, her tests and quizzes cover material not talked about in the book or lectures, and her questions are a lot of times written incorrectly so it is impossible to figure out the answer. Plus, labs have instructions but no examples. She honestly can't even figure out how to work her computer.
Awful
You won't have to attend lecture if you take this class. You just have to read the book for quizzes and show up on test day. They said this class used to be an open book for quizzes but when I took it, it wasn't. Quizzes come straight from the book and even with a lot of studying, you'll still get a lot of mistakes. She doesn't seem to know her stuff as well.
Average
In Professor Curto's class, the textbook is ZyBooks, which is pretty nice. Her grading system consisted of Zybooks participation, weekly quizzes, a few in-class participations, and exams. Tests are straightforward as well. Even if the material isn't the easiest, especially at the end, she makes it as simple as possible. Definitely, she doesn't embellish much past the slides though.
