Ronke is a professor at the College of Law
University of Saskatchewan. Prior to joining the College
she was a Sessional Lecturer at the Faculty of Law
University of British Columbia (UBC). She also worked for the Canadian Institute of Resources Law in Calgary. \n\nShe has served as a consultant for the United Nations University (UNU) in Tokyo on a UNCTAD/UNU project on the rule of law and good business practices in zones of conflict. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (admitted to the Bar in 2003). \n\nRonke serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Law and Society Association and is also a member of the Saskatchewan Intercultural Association’s Board of Directors.\n\nA recipient of numerous academic awards and fellowships Ronke has spoken at numerous international conferences and co-convened a workshop and a conference. Her research focuses on international economic law
especially the international law on foreign investment. She also has research interests in legal and international relations theory
socio-economic development
globalization and international law
and Africa and international law. Her articles on these subjects have appeared in several leading international journals
some issues of which she co-edited. \n\nShe teaches Contracts
Business Organizations and a seminar on Law
Development and the International System.
