Poor

Apart from him being accessible outside of class, there's nothing positive I can say about him. He made a hard class even harder because of his unclear and unrealistic expectations. His grading scale changes a lot and he wasn't even sympathetic about class struggles. I asked him how I can improve and he wasn't able to give me a decent answer at all. Pls avoid him if you can.

Tong-Viet is a wonderful professor who takes the time to explain things really well! He is really specific on what he wants on tasks and what you did incorrectly. He grades easily, is often accessible outside of class, and consistently provides solutions and study materials on mycourses. In the math department, he is one of the best professors.
