I am a current teacher whose passions lie within and beyond the realm of education. On the whole, I am interested in the way that education, especially in the Humanities, develops well-rounded human beings and critical thinkers. This relationship, to me, is capable of being developed both within and outside of the classroom. I am interested in out-of-school programs that seek to foster increased literacy and involvement with the arts.

In addition to education, I am particularly passionate about animal welfare, human rights, community leadership, and volunteerism. These interests have led me to seek out opportunities in nonprofit organizations, where I might use my skills in communication and leadership to give back to the community.

As a future endeavor, I hope to gain more experience and education that expand my knowledge and skill in communications, marketing, outreach, and nonprofit business development.
