Professor Toothe is wonderful. Textbook is not mandatory for you to buy in her class. It's just an extra reading material if you are interested. That being said, you have to attend the lectures and take down notes. Everything that she will cover in class is on the tests which are not cumulative. Her lectures were interesting. She made Art History fun by having a lot of good jokes.

Professor Toothe's lectures were interesting and engaging. Because of this, paying attention was made easy. At first, she seems really intimidating but she's not. The class consists of three exams, including the final. Those were longer and all in multiple choice. However, they only made up what she went over in class. I absolutely adore her.

Prof. Toothe's lectures are very interesting and straightforward. Make sure to write down everything she says in lectures because it will likely be on exams. Also, her notes on canvas do not indicate the small details she mentions. All exams are short and multiple choice type. It was pretty fair. The textbook isn't necessary to get an A and there isn't homework at all.

She puts students in their place from the start, which might be intimidating, but I believe she wants her class to be taken seriously. She is a wonderful and hilarious teacher. She makes the class enjoyable for everyone. I'd never learnt about art before this session, and it was a lot of fun. This class and her as a teacher come highly recommended. 10/10 would recommend taking her! Just make sure you do all the work she asks you to do.
