The NERD (Neurotech Early Research & Development) program provides milestone based non-dilutive funding to support product development. The program helps to de-risk investments in neurotechnologies by bridging the funding gap between research grants and private capital. Each project is assigned a product development team to advise
track
and evaluate progress throughout the project. Funds flow directly to contract research organizations (CROs) or service providers. All intellectual property remains with the company.\n\nABOUT OBI:\nThe Ontario Brain Institute is a provincially‐funded
not‐for‐profit research centre seeking to maximize the impact of neuroscience and establish Ontario as a world leader in brain research
