Professor Vion is a very helpful teacher. She really wants her students to succeed and is very approachable. I talked with her on how I struggle with writing research papers and she was willing to help me check over everything before I turned it in on the due date.

Poor

Although Prof. Vion's assignment percentages are low, it would still affect your grades. Many student's grades were affected because they didn't take the online homework seriously. You'll need to have at least 80% and finish all exercises to get full credit. Do not underestimate her class or else you'll end up like me.

Professor Vion is pretty great and has a clear grading system. There's a lot of notes, but her tests aren't too difficult, because it gives you learning guides

I had Prof. Vion during the spring. She's very accommodating esp with switching to online class. She also has office hours via zoom to help her students. She's very responsive as long as you reach her through canvas or email. She explains hard topics as easy as possible! We had lots of quizzes, exams, research papers, and online hw though.

Prof. Von is amazing! I had her for spring and she really did well during the pandemic and shifting to online class. She's very responsive whenever I had questions. I suggest you show up to meetings and skim through the book. Study guide is exactly like the exams as well. She has a tendency to go off-topic during lecture but I'd still recommend her!

Personally, I didn't like Prof. Vion only because she was my last class. She talks for the first half of class and she checks her emails, but she doesn't allow use of phone for HW. She can also go off topic sometimes, but study guides are exactly like the test, so it wasn't hard at all. She gives lots of online HW.

Prof. Vion uses a lot of visuals to teach history which I actually appreciate a lot. We had 3 exams, one dropped and 1 open book final. Also, study guides are identical to the actual exams. Show her that you care about the class and she will help you pass!

So far, Prof. Heidi is the best history teacher I've ever taken! I dropped HIST7 before because professors weren't passionate about teaching. She's pretty awesome, she actually makes history fun and interesting! I really wish I can take her over and over again!!! 10/10 would recommend!
