The LUCES Academy is a unique program designed to address faculty and institutional recommendations for improving academic programs, retention and student success by helping international and domestic at-risk student populations transition into American college academic life via bridging the gap between traditional English as a Second Language (ESL) programs and regular academic classes. LUCES courses are taught by specially trained faculty who make the content more accessible.

Designs and develops curriculum and learning programs for various business units;
• In collaboration with subject matter experts uses a variety of authoring tools to create unique learning solutions though instructor-led, web-based and virtual instructor-led training
• Creates training based on the end user needs, incorporating creative and sound principles of adult learning theory and ensuring program design accommodates learning styles
