The last 14 years as a community college instructor (assisting health science majors as well as science majors succeed in chemistry, & assisting logistics students to be successful learners), and also as Grant funded project Director or project Technical Director with 3 different grants, and assisting Professional Development, working with instructors to use technology in their classrooms to enhance learning, and engage & retain their students. Prior: 35 years experience as the principal Scientist, Operations Manager, Technical Sales Manager and President/CEO for an international instrument development, application, sales and service company for environmental monitoring (EPA compliance) and health (bio-med) applications. Customers in 37 countries. Negotiated and managed OEM sales contracts or License Agreements with Honeywell Australasia, Philips Europe, ItalControl, Environnement SA (France), Measurex Corp, Applied Automation, Bovar (Canada), GE Reuter-Stokes and Oldham France. Responsible for all details of int'l shipments (to insure receipt of payments). The last 15 years included teaching staff, users, and international regulatory agencies in the science and application of environmental monitoring instruments for stack emissions, vehicle emissions and ambient air compliance monitoring, specializing in remote sensing techniques. More recently applying the technology to breath analysis for diagnostics such as cardiac output monitoring. 11 patents
