Professor Hall is very knowledgeable in his subject and is really a stand up guy. His knowledge is to the point where it is almost overwhelming and makes you feel like an idiot. I started the class thinking it would be about pop culture but all you really study is early rap and hip-hop. You will write a memoir, a critical analysis of a music video, and do a research project on hip-hop.
