Awesome
Dr. Wilkins is hard to believe. She gave us a lot of assignments. They were the same each week. It was easy to get into a rhythm. The assignments were not hard. They did require effort. She is available and gives us great feedback on assignments. She wants us to be the best teachers we can be.
Good
Professor Wilkins has a very monotone voice and is a boring speaker. A lot of homework was given in the class that will make you work for it. However, she brings lots of good advice and teaching experience in the class. She made me feel more prepared for entering the classroom. She made me think in ways that I have not thought before. She is a great person!
Good
Totally willing to collaborate with students so long as she is given time to do so. While she isn't the most clear with her immediate critique or rubric, but you can revise your work for complete credit. While the final project takes a lot to do, you'll be prepared, I also recommend that you start that as soon as possible.
Awful
Prof. Wilkins was very rude! She doesn't communicate her expectations which makes it a struggle to accomplish the assignments. She'll even make you do it multiple times until you get what she's exactly looking for.
Awful
I had Prof. Wilkins for a virtual course and it was a total waste of time. I don't even know what she looks like because she never interacted with us in Zoom. She gives condescending and rude feedback. Course was simply doing the readings and writing papers. This graduate class really felt more like a high school correspondence course.
Average
Professor Wilkins' communication is rough. But she answers emails for the most part. The writing is intensive but not that bad since it's in parts. You can resubmit until you are satisfied though. The lesson plans were a bit confusing at first, but after a few times, it got easier. You must meet with a student from Bryan ISD. If she doesn't understand the questions, keep rephrasing them until she does.
