Good
He isn't as terrible as people say, he's just a little faster on his lectures. Going to his office hours helps as he is good at helping you understand the content. He has easy tests and they're like sample exams. Putting in the work will get you an A.
Poor
I thought that Professor Holland was fine. Chemistry 200 was much harder than 100 for me. And the transition to online classes made it even harder. Although attending lecture wasn't mandatory, I found it more helpful. This course needs dedication for an A.
Awful
Holland is a terrible instructor who doesn't seem to care about his students. This class is really difficult, and he only adds to the difficulty. He is very rude to kids who ask questions, condescending when answering them, and puts in little effort overall. Take advantage of the help room because certain TAs are really knowledgeable and helpful.
Average
He isn't so approachable. If you require assistance, you should contact the lab coordinator via email. Lectures were brief, however they could be watched outside of class. The tests were challenging, and they included obscure topics based on course slides. It was a doable class but you'll have to work for it. He's a better prof than the other profs in this dept tho.
Poor
This professor primarily focuses on his research work. If you have any questions about the class, you're supposed to ask Theresa, not him. The subject material can be tough. However, there are plenty of useful resources available. If you're willing to put in some work, it's not too bad.
