Awful
Professor Miller makes a difficult class with very challenging material even more difficult to learn. He does things like give a practice test a week prior to the upcoming test but then only gives the key two days before taking the test. I never knew if I was right or wrong while trying to prepare. Also, attendance is mandatory.
Poor
Professor is a really nice guy, there's absolutely nothing bad about him. Just a warning though, his teaching style is kind of ridiculous. The quizzes and tests aren't fair at all. Most of the time, I would choose what's supposed to be the correct answer, but then it turns out the answer is something weird he happened to mention in class. His tests are not at all based on the notes we take. Plus, he's not good with staying organized with grades and papers. They're all over the place.

Nacogdoches, Texas
A 22 year veteran in higher education, Greg has been involved in statistical consulting for over 18 of those years. As lead statistician for over $4,700,000 in local, state and agency funding, he's provided aid to researchers in education, forestry, nursing, environmental science and business. An animated speaker, Greg is acclaimed for statistical communication. Mentorship has been central to his work as both he and his students have won some of the most prestigious awards the university can offer. A highly experienced writer, Greg is author of two internationally used textbooks in probability and statistics and two other book length projects published locally. To expand offerings in statistical consulting, he launched East Texas Statistical Services (ETSS) in 2015, providing a unique opportunity for statistical consulting and analytic partnerships in Texas area. A main focus of ETSS is nursing and health care analytics as Greg is in regular contact with most every degree-granting nursing program in the state.

A junior/senior level calculus-based undergraduate textbook. Unique in that topics in stochastic processes are interwoven with material on random variables and distribution theory [as opposed to relegated to back chapters or optional sections.]. Better prepares undergraduate students for future study in applied probability or statistics. Used and sold internationally.

The third addition of Bhat's classic graduate level textbook on stochastic processes. My role in the revision was to re-integrate the material in all application chapters to be among those presenting the elementary theory and structure. Additionally, as co-author, I had responsibility over introducing all material on statistical inference for stochastic processes amidst Bhat's classic presentations of stochastic models. This text has been historically quite successful and often cited. Used and sold internationally.
