Senior Coordinator
Serve as the point person for approximately 25 members of Network Control each shift and directs the workflow, coordination and operation of 16 Domestic and International networks
The voice and representation of Network Control on many fronts. The Shift Leader communicates with a number of departments and groups on a regular basis including Domestic and International Production, Accounting, Content Screening, Content Integration, Compliance & Closed Captioning, Bottomline Productions, Transmission, Encryption, Programming, Network Traffic, Promotions and Commercial Operations. The Shift Leader must have a base understanding and working knowledge of these other groups to effectively coordinate a number of wide ranging initiatives.
Responsible for ensuring that all assignments are covered. This responsibility includes re-assigning staff after call-offs or changing conditions, program changes or late breaking news
Monitors all networks as well as all remote and AD hybrids to stay informed of event situations and issues in order to provide direction on commercial guidelines and promotional objectives
Compiles the Network Control Report, this report is used by many departments throughout the company as the report of record, this includes programming changes, times and technical issues that are to be documented accurately and completely
Communicates with Content Integration about programming changes and initiatives, as well as digest their information and comprehend what it means for the Network Control staff and act accordingly.
