Graham is an artist, designer and Assistant Professor at CCA, where he currently teaches students the thinking and crafting skills to become the next generation of interaction designers. Students in his classes experiment with code and tangible media, practice the art of storytelling, and generate speculative objects that imagine the future we might want - or could do without.
Formerly creative director of Snibbe Interactive and experience designer for Ralph Appelbaum Associates, he has helped to produce interactive spaces, products and services for a diverse list of clients - including Beck, Google and the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. He continues to work with design agencies, often taking on role of creative lead, developing unique interactive experiences for museums, corporations and hospitals.
In his practice as an artist, he explores the story-telling capabilities and emotional impact of materials that bridge the physical and digital worlds.
Interaction + Exhibit Designer
After completing a Masters Degree in Interaction Design at the Royal College of Art I joined RAA UK and quickly established their first media department, rapidly broadening their scope of services.
Creative Director
As the Creative Director of Snibbe Interactive I helped to grow the firm's product range to include multi-touch tables, large-scale interactive floor projections, gesture-recognizing screens, and innovative iOS apps.
Clients include James Cameron, Bjork, Beck, Google, The Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, Coca Cola, Proctor and Gamble, Sony Corporation, Dell, and several hospitals.
Lead Interaction Designer
RAA is the premier museum planning and design company, having defined the industry standard with 30 years in business and more than 140 built projects around the world. My role was to circulate through the New York office, advising Project Directors and their design teams with ideas for context appropriate forms of interactive technology - and where solutions didn't exist, create new platforms of our own.
Assistant Professor
Graham worked at California College of the Arts as a Assistant Professor
Interaction + Exhibit Designer
In the three-years I was employed by Gyroscope Inc, I assisted with the design and development of a dozen museums across Northern America and Europe.
