I am a Professor (Associate, with Tenure) in the Department of Chemistry at Cape Breton University. I teach Chemistry and Biochemistry for B.Sc. majors. My research group (Biochemical Research) works on fundamental and applied aspects of proteins and enzymes. Supervising Honors thesis and undergraduate students are major part of my research responsibilities. I am also engaged in mentoring foreign exchange graduate students. In addition to my teaching and research responsibilities; I am actively involved in service work to the University Community and outside.
