Awesome

Professor Roy is outstanding! Do whatever you have to do to get in his class. Class goes by quickly, chemistry is challenging but he makes it interesting. He curves his test if grades are too low, and he gives lots of helpful ways to succeed.

Awesome

Prof. Roy is amazing. He is a fair grader and he is easy to understand. His lectures are meaningful and interesting. He holds you to be accountable which I understand. Take his classes because he is totally worth it.

Poor

Professor Roy is sassy and rude. You cannot be late or leave early . He will literally walk out with you and ask why are you leaving. He puts study packets out online, but it's like 20 plus pages long. It did help sometimes though. Also, he don't like it when people ask questions. However, he still allows a 3x5 index card on test. Honestly, what I can tell you is good luck.

Good

Professor Roy was very straight forward with what he wanted the class to do during lab class. He gave a study guide for the two tests. The tests will only consist of what calculations you did during the laboratories. He's very strict about being on time and not missing his laboratory classes. If you miss more that two laboratory classes, your grade will eventually suffer.

Average

Professor Roy was very knowledgeable and I learned plenty from him. He's very entertaining and keeps you engaged. I would recommend him for lab. A word of warning though, he is not fond of older/non traditional students (I was in my early 30s). He really went out of his way to be extra snotty towards me in class. I didn't even ask questions in class, he would just walk up and make snide comments if he thought I was doing something wrong (even my lab partners would cringe). If you don't fall in to that category, then by all means, enjoy his class.
