Awful
Worst professor I have ever had. He talks to fast. He does not allow recorders. He does not use power points. He is rude and makes it very clear he does not care. There are 4 tests and 1 final. All are very difficult and are not based on what he teaches in class. Don't Do It.
Poor
5 tests on this class. This class didn't work with my method of learning. Lectures with no powerpoint, no writing on the board. He does not allow electronics, you have to take notes on paper, he never repeated or slowed down.
Awful
Do NOT take Professor Carrico. He doesn't allow any electronic devices and he talks very fast. If you are trying to write down the last thing he said, you could easily miss him saying a test question. He doesn't teach from the book and he doesn't care how the students do. He is very lecture heavy as well. Do NOT take him.
Average
Professor Carrico is a really cool guy and he tries to makes the class enjoyable, but you have to listen to everything he says just to pass the tests. There is four tests and a take home quiz for this class, only one test grade is dropped at the end so be sure you know all the info before going to class on test days.
Awful
Lectures consist of 15% writing on the board and 85% talking. He is super unpredictable when it comes to tests, however he is very knowledgeable about the subject. Do not miss classes. The tests are made to see if you pay attention to the small details during lectures. His teaching style didn't help me so I wouldn't take him again.
Poor
Professor Carrico gets a solid "eh" from me. If you are a visual learner like me, do not take this class. He is nice and pretty funny, he just does not teach in a way that works for everybody. He writes down very little, so you basically have to guess what the tests will be about.
Good
Professor Carrico is easily my favorite professor at Kennesaw State so far. Cares a lot about history, and had a good amount of knowledge on the subject. The lectures were fun, and this class was somewhere that I was actually interested in going to. I'd definitely recommend his class!
Awesome
Professor Carrico is an amazing man who teaches history in a really interesting and funny way. But everything is graded in the class. It consists of four tests and an extra credit quiz, that is based on his lectures. Always pay attention to what he repeats in lectures. Just show up to class everyday, pay attention, study with effort, then you'll be fine.
Awful
I had to take Prof. Carrico's class because of my community. I really hated it. He doesn't act like a teacher and his exams doesn't seem to make sense to me. I suggest you save yourself the headache and take someone else instead.
Good
Prof. Gary is a decent prof who's very passionate about his teaching and his tests correspond well with lectures. There was no textbook for this, so skipping class will really guarantee you a fail. He gives 5 tests including final. His lectures are pretty decent, but he rambles a little sometimes.
Awful
Carrico's class is one of the toughest class I've ever taken. I seriously recommend that you don't take this class, government shouldn't be this hard. The tests are very hard, and you are overload with information during the lectures that isn't even used on the tests, however it's mandatory you memorize it all. No electronics are permitted at all, if you are caught even with your phone on your desk he will stop the lecture to scream at you.
