Poor
Take this one at your own risk. Coulton is, with out a doubt, the worst Psychology professor on the planet. His lectures will put you to sleep and, if he sees that you are sleeping, he will throw you out of the class and give you an F. He has such an awful personality. He spends all of his time thinking up power point slides that are as boring as they can be. He even uses boring, blank power point slides if you can imagine that. His tests are all made up. Does not realize that the text book has all the tests and mid term exams in place. He even gets bored tying to use the blank power point slides. He makes up the tests but then forgets which ones he has already given us. His made up exams are geared to fail. There is not much to work with. He changes the syllabus to confuse us, then he will leave you with that deer in headlights look on your face. If you can take the abuse, then this is the prof for you. He is not that interesting and he is not motivated !
Awful
I took Professor Coulton for social psychology after I did it in another college. But, my credits haven't been transferred. You need to read and attend his class. His slides didn't have the necessary information about the tests and he didn't show up for classes to give us his expectations for the assignments. I'll never take his class again.
Awful
I took Professor Coulton for industrial psychology. The test are timed or a minute per question. It covers a lot of situational questions, that requires critical thinking. Discussion boards, essay papers and exams, is what the class consists of. You will fail if you don't do well on the exams. There's very little extra credit offered that can boost up your grade a bit.
Awful
Professor Coulton doesn't provide clear information as to what he wants. It's online, but he's treating us like we heard him give this week's lecture. The tests are ridiculous, 65 minutes for 60 questions. His responses to questions are short and rude. This isn't something I would have expected in this university. Teach me on what I'm paying for. I'll never take his classes again.
Awful
Wouldn't recommend taking Prof. Coulton's class. He doesn't give clear directions and yet he gives you a bad grade. Due to COVID, all classes were switched to online this term, although he still required all work to be done in groups. It's almost as though he doesn't want the students to succeed. His lectures are confusing, but he appears to be a pleasant guy.
Awful
The course subject is not difficult, however if you are taking it online, I would avoid this professor. Communication was terrible, expectations were unclear, deadlines were changed, and the assignment was opened LATE multiple times (had to email him to open them). He also doesn't give tests a lot of time (Ex: 60 questions - 65min).
Average
Professor Coulton is very relaxed that you forget you're taking him. I took him online, and I didn't have to buy a book or write a paper for his course. We had discussion boards from time to time, but they weren't difficult. Even if his instructions were unclear, you can still surpass them.
Awful
I attended online courses Professor Coulton and couldn't wait for those courses to end. He was never caught up with the grading and constantly missed deadlines that he set to give us the quizzes. Honestly, students should not have to email the teacher to remind them to do their job. I suggest you must watch your grades closely if you take his class since he likes to do some changes.
