You will not use the book but you will need a clicker. The quizzes are marvelous. He will review the material before giving you a quiz. Really pay attention to the quizzes. Take your notes to study at home. You may end up talking about one slide during the whole class. Foresman will let you make up quizz questions. I loved his class.

This class was convenient because the work wasn't due every week and you get the time to read and do the essays. But don't think you 'll get an A for doing the bare minimum. You'll write every chapter and you have to read every chapter since the assignments are based on them. Also, I recommend getting the pdf instead of the actual book, it works no matter the age.
