Currently employed in the Office of Institutional Research at Texas State University, I have a combined total of over 25 years experience in higher education with positions ranging from Technology Coordinator to Assistant Professor to Research Analyst. This varied experience has given me insight into higher education from both the staff/administrative and faculty sides of the coin. My current position offers me an excellent opportunity to combine my knowledge of higher education with my skills in data science and information technology. Since joining the field of Institutional Research, I have become an active member in the Texas Association of Institutional Research and currently serve as the Vice-President/President-Elect of the organization. Although I still enjoy teaching, I have found that an administrative/staff position is more in line with my current interests and goals. By offering workshops on Tableau, Data Visualization, and other topics related to my work in Institutional Research, I am able to still engage in "teaching like" activities. I am always on the look out for ways to broaden my skill set and advance my knowledge.
Research Analyst, Office of Institutional Research
My primary responsibilities are to address ad hoc requests including requests for help with academic research grant applications, assessment activities, university and program-level accreditation reports, and other related projects and standard reports. I continue to teach courses related to statistics, program evaluation, and assessment on a per-course basis for departments on campus.

Senior Lecturer and Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology
I served as a Senior Lecturer in the Psychology department at Texas State University from Sept. 2006 until I accepted a position as an Assistant Professor in the department beginning in the Fall of 2009. During this time I taught course related to statistics, research methodology, psychometrics, program evaluation, industrial/organizational psychology, and occupational health psychology. I continued to serve as the Technology liaison for the department during this time as well. My areas of research were related to industrial/organizational psychology, human factors, occupational health psychology, and other areas as time permitted.
