Professor Flanagan is incredibly knowledgeable, but he has a blatant disregard for students. Off-point of wrong answers to his discussion questions during class usually got made fun of or brushed off in a rude way. It discouraged participation in the class by anyone who doesn't know perfectly what they are talking about.
