The Mission of Minnesota Evaluation Association (MN EA) is to promote and improve the theory
practice
understanding and use of evaluation and its contribution to the community. The purpose of this organization is to:\n1) Promote evaluation as an integral component of human services
education
health
criminal justice
and other fields.\n2) Promote the understanding
use and benefit of evaluation results in organizational planning and program improvement.\n3) Provide a regional
interdisciplinary forum for professional development
networking and exchange of ideas related to evaluation and local evaluation issues. \n4) Promote dialogue among evaluation stakeholders (evaluators
funders
consumers) about the benefits of evaluation research.

DRC has provided:\n\nmediation to help individuals

government agencies
businesses
muniicipalitiess and community groups resolve a variety of issues.\n\nrestorative processes to help individuals and communities harmed by crime.\n\nprofessional training to volunteers who serve as mediators in community settings as well as in the conciliation
family and housing courts of our county court system.\n\neducational sessions about mediation
restorative justice and conflict resolution skills for schools businesses and organizations
and professional continuing education for practicing mediators and those wanting to learn basic skills.
